What is a low-cut cork?
A plug is a short mechanical part, most often cylindrical, square, or hexagonal, used to close, seal, or protect an opening . Depending on the mounting, it is screwed, fitted, or expanded into its housing, and must guarantee a reliable seal over time.
Machining allows the thread, sealing surface, base, and operating recess (external or internal hex, slot) to be machined in a single piece. The quality of these surfaces directly determines the cap's resistance to pressure and the fluids in the circuit.
The bottle caps we manufacture
We machine the main families of caps, as well as specific models:
- Threaded plugs : screwed into a threaded hole, they close securely and are removable.
- Drain plugs Placed on the crankcases and tanks, they allow for the purging and renewal of fluids.
- Hydraulic plugs : sized to seal pressurized circuits.

- Stainless steel : for aggressive environments and equipment subject to hygiene requirements.
- Free-cutting steel : for sump plugs and industrial hydraulic circuits, with suitable surface treatment if required.
- Aluminium : for ensembles where lightness is desired.
